Another blog joins the FM fray
Check this out -- The News Connection has started its own blog at blog.thenewsconnection.com. For those of us who love D Magazine's FrontBurner blog, we hope and expect The News Connection can provide us with the same level of immediacy, relevance and general snarkiness (that's a FrontBurner word) that DMag staffers do with their blog. My advice to my friends at TNC: post early, post often, and take chances with the blog that you might not take with the weekly paper.

it is just a shame that they delete posts that do not fit in someones narrow political outlook. they had some stuff criticising mike burgess and pete sessions (who is under investigation for bribery, btw), and then it all vanished within an hour. the day before one of websters posts about meeting cindy sheehan vanished as well not to mention all of my legitimate commetns.
someone at tnc does not liek people disagreeing with them. isnt the purpose of blog comments to facilitate discussion and an exchange of ideas? its not like i was vulgar or hateful.
oh, and i completely agree with an earlier commenter. tnc does sensationalize stories, and usually for no reason. thats just my opinion.
