FM Police investigate report of Wellington attack
Police are investigating a woman's report that she was attacked by an unknown person in her garage in Wellington yesterday. This morning, I got 5 e-mails from neighbors who received a "safety alert" e-mail blast from the Wellington HOA. I spent a lot of time at the TV station today trying to understand what information the police had to work with, which apparently isn't much. I'm told the woman was not seriously hurt.

Update on the incident here...
I'm puzzled that there is such a lack of information about this attack. Does anyone know what we should be looking for in terms of the suspect's description or car? I tried to go to the FM Police website to see if they had posted warnings etc but the town's site was down at the time.
I think if police had a description (any kind of description) they would have posted it. It's possible the person filing the complaint was not able to provide a description.
I believe the LantanaLinks link explained that the woman didn't see or couldn't remember much of her attacker. Also, he fled on foot. When I read this here, I wrote to all the friends I know in the Wellington neighborhood. I'm not sure what's true and what's not, but I heard the lady came home for lunch and was attacked by a box-cutter. And that her husband found her on the floor of the garage. Which goes against my understanding that she was not seriously hurt. Also, heard that someone saw a bunch of police cars in the area of the Wellington pool (or tennis courts?) so they called the local elementary school and the school held the students a few minutes until they called the police and got the "ok" to release them. Again, this is just what I heard.
Several days later....do we know any more details?
