Lifetime Fitness: open house this weekend

Sorry for the late notice, but it's Open House this weekend at Lifetime Fitness. Members can bring guests, or you can just walk in off the street. There's a big open-to-all-Flower Mound pool party tomorrow (Sunday) from 1-3pm with Lite 103.7 DJ's on hand to spice up the fun. The outdoor pool at Lifetime Fitness is a well-designed facility.

I'm sure Lifetime is looking to drum up more members, of course. Hey, it's a great club, but I wonder if they'll ever cut off sales to new members. Not for a while, if ever, I suppose. They have huge beautiful facilities, and I've never had to wait on a piece of equipment. The pool and the lockerroom facilities are first rate, although a few days ago I counted 8 available (out of about 300) lockers in the men's lockerroom. They're all first-come, first-serve. It must have been a busy day, one of those where everyone's trying to beat the heat.
